Hi folks, my wife and I did a destination ride June 8 at Okanagan Falls.
We rode north across the wooden bridge (one of my favorite elements) along the KVR trail for 20 minutes out and 37 back. We only logged 8 kms, but it was our first ride since recovering from C19 a few weeks ago.
Her ebike performed flawlessly ; she loves it , and it certainly helps with slow gravel and headwinds, that’s for certain.
Along this trail are many homes of the spectacular yard variety, and some just downright spectacular.
The temperature was 20 C, but it did spit on us on the return leg, and I had to work against a 15 km/h headwind so there were some challenges.
All in all it was a great end to an afternoon of visiting with my wife’s cousins at Tickleberries. Bought the kids some ice cream and that got everyone smiling. 
Behind me in this photo are the paving stone cycle and pedway leading toward the wooden bridge. It is a super nice start to the KVR trial. As I said, it takes you across a bay of Skaha Lake and the visuals are quite stunning.
I stopped to chat with a young fisherman who was trying for some rainbow trout with mixed success. We traded a couple of trout strategies and off I went, just stopping to snap these two pics.
