Hi everyone. Even though XC skiing has been over for the season for about a month, I just wanted to write in there that the sport is great fun and enjoyed by me three to four times per week.
I am fortunate enough to live only 20 minutes away from Telemark Ski Park in West Kelowna, and it is a beautiful park. Trails are carved out of the mountainside and there are both hiking and cross country skiing trails. It is one of my favorite places to be in the winter.
I have lots of pictures and I’ll throw some up here when I have time. Right now, with the snow melting and the Park closed, not too many people will be interested in Telemark, but I will pick up on some special reports in December when the Park is open and I’ll be back on the trails. Cross country skiing truly is a great sport and Telemark Park a beautiful place to enjoy it.
